Community Educational Videos

The following videos represent my ability to convey information to a population that consists of more than 60% retired home-owners. It was my task to develop a message that consisted of critical and complex information. By creating videos that incorporated text and audio, the viewer was able to digest the information at their pace and revisit it for deeper comprehension.

Monthly Publications

Beginning in May of 2019, I began assisting in the publication of my community's local magazine as a graphic designer. In September, I was promoted to the editor's role. From September on, the layout and design of the magazine became my work of passion. Although this only represents a small portion of my creative work over the last two years, it is a good representation of my ability and technical knowledge.

Masters Level Course Authoring

In February of 2020, I was hired to teach a Robotics course in a Instructional Design Masters Program for teachers. The course had been started, but I was given permission to rewrite as I felt necessary. I rebuilt the class creating a hands-on approach by including a term-long project that would allow the learner to start from the ground up learning robotics, while developing the tools to share the learning with their fellow teammates and their students. I am unable to share the course, but I can certainly share my experience and the building blocks that make it an exciting course for the teachers, the learners and for future students as well.

I subsequently was asked to continue my course development for a class around 3D Makerspaces. If you would like to learn more about this course, I would love to share more about it with you as well.
