Storyline Course Shell

Picture
  • Client requested a shell to use for developing certification courses for veterinarian certification.
  • Project was completed using trial versions to get a feel for client preferences.
  • This example includes the use of AI tool D-ID as a sample of a talking head.
  • WellSaidLabs was used for Voiceovers, additionally, Lovo was also used just for testing purposes on one slide
  • (WellSaidLabs doesn't allow downloading on free accounts, so this is simply my computer recording the voice, please overlook the un-crisp final VO product.)
  • Vyond was used for imagery and for the video embedded in the first lesson.
  • Sample AI talking head was used to welcome new learners as per request of an Agent Persona sample

Building Simulations

  • Create a simulation training using storyline tools
  • Simulation should teach the steps of uploading a color swatch file (part of a bigger training project)
  • No Voiceovers
  • No talking head videos
  • Show the learner the process
  • Have the learner attempt the process again by themselves
  • Keep it simple
  • Do not overdesign
  • Submit to "Complete Course" at the end

AWARD Winning Magazine Editor

In 2019, I began my magazine creation and design journey using InDesign. A community magazine was being produced and the InDesign Editor was moving and wanted to pass the torch to a new team. The articles are written by local community members and many of the images are also submitted from the community. We have a copy editor that proofs everything and 2 ad salespeople who get advertisers and work to obtain the art. Then I take all of the content and design a magazine every month. It takes a village, but the results are a fantastic keepsake for memories and allow for public notices specifically for this one community. Thanks to a team effort, our community has web access to the archives from the past 20 years. If you would like to see more examples, here is a link to a folder with the magazines I developed and published. Every month, this magazine is packaged, published, and delivered to thousands of homes in the community.
